Linda Calkins returned to our group and made a presentation on creating Digital Fine Art. She combines Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel Painter in creating her art pieces. She described her thinking process in making her artwork and was very informative. She showed how she took photos and then made them look like paintings using different software techniques and filters. She prints them out on Epson printers using a canvas paper. Her work was on exhibit recently at the Surf City Art and Business Show at the Pier Plaza in Huntington Beach.
