Our
September 6th meeting was extremely informative. Mike Riley is one of
the best presenters to come to our group. He has been at our meetings
as a representative of Quark, Microtek, MetaCreations, and now as a representative
of Adobe. His presentation skills are remarkable and he deftly went through
presentations of Adobe Photoshop Elements (even though I have Photoshop,
Mike showed the qualities of Photoshop Elements so well, that I am going
to get it for my family), Photoshop 6, InDesign, 1.52 and Acrobat 5. He
adeptly answered all questions that were asked as well took orders for
Adobe products that were discounted for that evening. Adobe very generously
supplied literature on all their products as well as donated Photoshop
6, Golive 5 and Acrobat 5 for our raffle. The winners of the raffle were
Jana Mestanke (Photoshop), Bruce Bishop (Golive), and Carroll DeVault
(Acrobat). Besides the raffle generating revenue for WOCMUG, three members
of LBMG joined WOCMUG that evening. WOCMUG welcomes Pat Housler, Bryan
Chachere and Larry Bunden as new members.
