Randy Belisle,"Creating Murals from Photographs" |
Randy Belisle has been a photographer for many years. On weekends, he represents Epson at the Los Altos CompUSA and he started an Epson 2200 User Group that meets on the second Sunday each month at 11 am at CompUSA. He discussed how he made a panorama scene in Utah over two days shooting film and took the images and made a mural from his photographs that he printed on an Epson 2200 at 18 inches by 100 feet on his G4 server system. Printing the mural took 3 straight days where ink cartridges had to be replaced about every hour. The mural is mounted on a custom mounting and takes up the entire lobby of the ship. After doing this panorama, Randy has been commissioned by an Alaskan cruise company to do a series of murals for their ships. |
