Our
Our May 3rd
meeting was a demonstration of Flash 5 by graphic designer and illustrator,
Stan Holden of Holden Design / The LooneyBin. Stan explained how he became
interested in Flash and how he self taught himself the program. He explained
how the Christmas themed flash animation he was designing led to its production
prior to the Christmas holiday. He explained how came up with his ideas,
how he laid out a storyboard that helped in the logistics of the animation
and how he illustrated and animated certain scenes. He also explained
how he got help from professional musical artists to make the background
music for his animation. He showed some step by step examples of how some
of the scenes were made. He explained his use of both Flash and Adobe
Illustrator tools for making some of the scenes. You can see "Rebel
